Dinosaur – Roar!,
Bought this for my 3 year old son who loves copying ‘George’ from ‘Peppa Pig’, “Dinosaur, Roar!” he had it out of the packaging the moment he saw it and was pulling it on.
It’s cheap and cheerful but I am not holding out hope for durability as material does not appear best quality.
My disappointment is that the size is really very small, if I had seen in the shop I would have bought bigger. My 3 year old will grow out of it before he wears out the fun he is having.

This was purchased in the weeks approaching Halloween 2009, as part of a plan to be decently organised. History will show that trying to buy a kids costume from one of the high street retailers or supermarkets during the week before Halloween is a task fraught with missed opportunity, wrong sizes, inappropriate type of costume, and poorly made product. How easy it is to be forced to purchase a costume from one of those categories, simply because time is running out. And purchasing none at all is not an option, unless you choose to sit up all night trying to make one.
So, Hooray for this Dinosaur Costume which we saw at exactly the right time to arrive a week before we needed it. We didn’t expect too much at the price but was actually very well made from heavy felt material, and has now withstood about 4 parties, and been worn as a play costume by both my sons, now 4 and 5 yrs. It has been through the washing machine umpty times, and while I wouldn’t recommend tumble drying, it has happened without noticeable effect. All in, a good buy, when you consider what rubbish you could end up with for a tenner from your supermarket. Also, no argument from the end user- show me a boy who doesn’t think a dinosaur is a cool thing to be..
